Data Squirrel is proud to donate 10 percent of its pre-tax profits to charities.

Data Squirrel founder and president Ed Kennedy and his wife, Sandy, lost their baby girl to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in 1999 and Sandy's mother in 2009, but they live on today as the inspiration for making charitable giving part of the foundation of Data Squirrel.

Data Squirrel will donate 10 percent of its pre-tax profits to several charities, including Hospice, First Candle, and the SIDS alliance of Northern Virginia.

When Sandy's mother was very ill and was near the end, Hospice assisted the family and helped guide them through some very difficult times.

The SIDS alliance of Northern Virginina helped Ed and Sandy through the very difficult times after their daughter, Taegan, passed away.First Candle assists families who have have lost a child, no matter the cause. Data Squirrel will also donate to organizations that perform research into finding causes for SIDS and for
